Charlie has over 20 years of experience in connecting users to Wi-Fi networks, whether via legacy connection managers, voucher codes for public Wi-Fi services or more recently with captive portals, 802.1x and Passpoint. As Senior Solution Architect at GlobalReach Technology, he has responsibility for ensuring customer solutions meet demanding scaling targets across industry verticals – from enterprise and ground-based public transport to large public networks, hospitality and aviation.
Charlie is a long-standing contributor and project leader in various work streams at the Wireless Broadband Alliance, particularly focussed on improving user experiences in connecting to Wi-Fi networks – whether at the network or device layer.
